    1. [OKMUSKOG] Oslin and Pierce Family
    2. Cecil V. Boyd
    3. Is there anyone on this list working on the Pierce family that married into the Oslin family? I have come across a puzzle and would appreciate any help I can get. I have a Lennie Mable Oslin, born 6 April 1895, in Boles, Arkansas, and died 11 January 1981, in the Muskogee General Hospital. She married Elijah Oslin on 4 October 1914, at Porum, Oklahoma. "Survivors include four sons, Carl and Harold, both of Muskogee, Earnest of Tulsa and Boyd of Collinsville: one daughter, Christine Skaggs of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Roy Pierce of Chandler; two sisters, Inez Rhodes of Tulsa and Irene Young of Breaux Bridges, LA." All of this information came from her obituary. I assumed that since her brother was Roy Pierce that 'Pierce' was the last name of all of her siblings. Also, per Dallas H. Oslin, Jr., and his "Notes On The Oslin Name And Family" her father was John Wesley Pierce and her mother was Violet Helen (Jackson) Pierce. Now for the problem - on the 1920 Oklahoma, Muskogee Co., Martin Twp., SD 2, ED 68, Sheet 5A, Dwelling 64, Family 64, I find OSLIN, Elijah F., head, age 25, born Oklahoma Lennie M., wife, age 24, born Oklahoma Mildrid P., dau, age 4 4/12, born Oklahoma Carl M., son, age 1 10/12, born Oklahoma Marie, dau, age 3/12, born Oklahoma MALES or MOLES, Irine, sister-in-law, age 11, born Oklahoma MALES or MOLES, Inez, sister-in-law, age 5, born Oklahoma MOORE, Benjamine, Hired man, age 19, born Mississippi Can anyone help with the last name for Irene and Inez? Half-sisters maybe? Also, who is Marie? Could this be Christine Marie, or Marie Christine? The ages are about the same. (Christine born 17 September 1919.) Any help would be appreciated. Ms. Cecil V. Boyd
