    3. My name is Kathleen Burnett and I am your new List Mom. I want to take a moment and let you know who I am and a little about myself and how I work as a Mailing List Mom. I am a mother of four and grandmother of nine. I work outside of the home during the day. I am a list Mom to several other Mailing Lists and am very actively involved in my own family research. I am a hands on List Mom, meaning I keep track of what is going on with the mailing list and if you are ever in need of me during the day, while at work, you can reach me at [email protected] - in the evenings or on Sunday I can be reached at [email protected] My goal for your list is to keep it a safe place for you to research post and share information regarding your Muskogee Co., OK ancestors. Safe meaning a place where you are not subject to postings other than posting related to the subject of the list. For your information, the Muskogee Co., OK Mailing List has 218 members, 193 of these are subscribed to the Regular List and 25 to the Digest List. I have very few rules on my lists, the main one is to treat your fellow members as you would like to be treated and the posting of virus warnings, test messages, chain letters, political announcements, current events, items for sale, personal messages, flames, etc. (in other words - spam) is NOT ALLOWED and will be grounds for removal. Consideration for exceptions, contact Kathleen Burnett [email protected] If you would like to visit the archived messages for this list you may go to http://searches2.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl and type in OKMUSKOG From there you can search by keyword. 3. Nell, I'm really sorry, I didn't get your email about 1920. I still want to recheck 1910 and I'll look at 1920 while I'm at it. I've been a bit absent minded lately as I'm trying to compile a listing of all Muskogee County cemeteries, their locations, who recorded them and when and plotting their locations on township maps. It has turned into a bigger job than I had anticipated but it will be worth the effort in the end. Anyway, if you don't hear from me in a reasonable length of time...please send me a note to jog my memory. :) Hope you've had some rain in Florida.. it has been horribly dry here. We did get a storm tonite with alot of rain and 60 mph winds. Only lasted about 30 minutes but had to shut down my computer because the lightning was so bad. sue ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 07, 2001 7:44 PM Subject: [OKMUSKOG] KEMP MARLEY & SUSAN MARLEY > Sue, are you alright? 3. I am happy to report that my persistence in sending this message paid off. I found George Washington TODD and Margaret Isabelle WOODS' kin still living in Porter and Fort Gibson. Additionally, I discovered they have been interned in the Citizen's Cemetery [aka: Cherokee National Cemetery] at Fort Gibson. Many thanks to those on the list who have clarified this for Ms. Abbott, and have been so helpful to me. I hope others on the list are as successful as I have been. Wanda

    3. Donna, You have joined an email list. That means that every email anyone sends to the list is sent to every member of the list. That's why you're getting these emails. It gives people a chance to let more people see who they are looking for. If you don't have any information, just delete the message, and don't respond. If you do have information, then you can write the list with it, the same way you sent the message below, or you can respond to the person individually. I hope this helps! We're not picking on you, rest assured! Take care and go safely! 2. Cecil V. Boyd
    3. Donna I may be wrong, but I believe that the reason you are receiving these emails is because you are on the <[email protected]> mailing list. If I am correct you should be receiving everything that is posted to this list. Everyone that joined the list receives everything that is posted. If these emails are coming to you directly then I would agree that someone does have the wrong address. In this case the thing to do is email the person sending the messages to you and explain about the error. I do not know how well acquainted you are with lists such as this, but if I can help you in any way please feel free to email me directly and I will try to help you in any way I can, not that I am an expert by any means. But I will try. I hope you manage to get it all straightened out. Ms. Cecil V. Boyd At 04:04 PM 9/5/2001 -0500, you wrote: >Please do not e-mail me anymore.
