    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/zYB.2ACE/1577.1.2.2.1 Message Board Post: Thank you. My ggrandfather Samuel moved to Boynton about 1903 and had a butcher shop and later a blacksmith business, they also had a farm and raised cattle. Samuel and Elizabeth King had 10 children. My grandfather Alvin John and Mabel Gross also had 10 children, so some of the family was still living there in the early 1930's or so. And like I said Harry (he had a twin brother - Harvey) and Nora are still living there. Harry's parents were Charles Edward and Ada Harris - they both died at Boynton in 1948. There's not much there now - I have a cousin, who lives in Norman, who checks on Harry, now and then.Thank you for replying, Leda

    1. Re: [OKMUSKOG] Scott/Briartown help!
    2. Hi all, I was born in Muskogee and lived there for a number of years. I'm looking for information about my Great-grandparents - John Wesley Gross and Ida Mae Holton. I think that they were both born in Pennsylvania. John was born in 1857and died in 1935; and Ida Mae was born in 1858 and died in 1920; they were married in 1878 - probably in Pennsylvania. They probably moved to Muskogee in the late 1800"s. They are both buried at Muskogee. One of their daughters was my grandmother, Mabel Isabell, she married Alvin John Siegenthaler and they lived at Boynton, OK. I looking for ancestors, siblings and children of siblings Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Leda Driskell Petersen

    3. George - You are right and I hesitated at the last moment sending it because I thought it would be taken as criticism. It's a GREAT looking site and much needed information I was just a bit frustrated that there wasn't much meat yet. I'll just make a general comment about the internet. It's a repository for EVERYTHING that anyone wants to share or sale. I just received a 100 question Nielsen's Questionnaire asking me about how I thought the internet should be "monitored" and who should be responsible for this. As exciting as this new technology is there's a lot of frustration with it being in it's infancy. Good luck with the site Sue. I'll check back from time to time. Ken
