    1. Re: [OKMUSKOG] Coon
    2. Justin, I am looking for family history of the Coon family of Oklahoma, also. My grandmother was one of six children raised in Braggs, Oklahoma. The parents were Joseph and Sally Coon. I understand there was a brother of Joseph and they ran some kind of a store together there in Braggs. Coon and Coon. One of the sisters, Mary, was married to the son of a Dr. Reece. The son was Edgar. Other children were John, Lois, Blanche, Minnie, Dorothy, Lucy, and one other daughter. If anyone has any information about this family, I would love to hear from you. Penny

    3. Can anyone tell me where Adalaide ("Addie") BENNETT is buried? She died in Kansas City, MO about 31 Mar 1927 and was interred by Guipel Funeral Home of Muskogee, OK. Would there be an obituary in a Muskogee newspaper? Her maiden name was COON; she was the widow of a Civil War veteran. Any information would be greatly appreciated. 2. If he was in Shawnee, OK 1900 you could check the 1900 Ind Terr census........death rec...........write to vit statistics for his death certificate......check the funeral homes around there and ask them for death info. I HAVE FOUND SO MUCH INFO FROM FUNERAL HOMES, I CANT STRESS ENOUGH THE ADVANTAGE OF CONTACTING THEM BY MAIL OR PHONE. They are usually so very nice and the funeral home generally asks the same info as the death certif......most of the info. Plus it will have the cemetery info on it. Check the Dawes Rolls also.

    1. Re: [OKMUSKOG] 1900 Indian Territory census
    2. Hello, I'm not sure who to address this request to - But I am looking for information about or need to know where to look for information. And ancestor Anna Littlefeather was a Chickasaw Indian and born about 1795. She married Elias Wilson. They had a daughter Margaretta who was born April 1, 1813 and she married Benjamin Campbell - they had 9 children. One of their sons was Charles Wilson Alexander Campbell who was born May 13, 1846, I think in Chester Co., Pennslyvania. He later married and lived in Shawnee, Oklahoma and raised a family there. Does anyone have any ideas about where I should look, or start to look for this information? Thank you, Leda Petersen
