Eddie Malphrus officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery. He died Sept. 28, 2003, at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital. He was born June 22, 1920, in Ada to Iola Jeff (McCurty) and Cecil Leonis Spicer. Before moving to Sulphur in 1939, he lived in Fairfax and Stillwell. Spicer married Betty Fields on Jan. 5, 1960, in Ada. He served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in Iceland. Spicer was a dairyman, farmer and worked in the National Park during the summers. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, James, Davis, and a sister, Pat Lawson, Wagoner. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Francis Anderson.
