Johnny Beckman and Billy Staggs officiating. Interment was at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. She was born on Saturday, March, 27, 1909 in Bromide, Okla. She died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 in Davis. On September 19, 1947 she married Jack J. Diamond in Sherman, Texas. He preceded her in death in October 28, 1979. She grew up and attended school at Schuler. She came to Sulphur in 1934. She owned and operated several businesses in Sulphur and Davis. She had lived in Davis since 1969. She is survived by one daughter, Inez Green, Davis; five grandchildren, Donna Lucas, Davis, Beverly Neville, Gladewater, Texas, Kenny Payne, Davis, Lisa Harris and Kimberly Rivera, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; six great grandchildren, Kari Miller, Audrey Pyle, Amanda Gordy, Jimmy Payne, Tera Jordan, and Vince Lucas; 10 great-great grandchildren, Jordan Harris, Vincent Rivera, Nicolette Rivers, Gracyn Georganna Rivera, Joshua Miller, Morgan Miller, Jack Riley Miller, Avery Belle Pyle, Ashley Gordy and Chandler Gordy. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Wanda Louise Frebbiele and two brothers, Oliver and Andrew Murphey. Pallbearers were Brandon Parsons, Kevin Sparks, Godfrey Riles, Patrick Neville, Billy Staggs, Casey Worsham. Honorary Pallbearers were James "Red" Reading, Neal Northcutt and Novice Thompson.
