Eddie Malphrus and Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating. Interment was at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. She was born on Thursday, Oct. 9, 1941 in Finney Switch, Texas to Fred Freeman and Fern A. Ivey Freeman. She died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002 in Tulsa. On February 27, 1965 she married Wendel Fowler in Sulphur. She lived in this area most of her life. She attended school at Asher and moved to Sulphur in 1958 where she graduated from Sulphur High School. She was the secretary at Sulphur Intermediate School. She is survived by her husband, Wendel Fowler, Sulphur; one daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Tim Drummond, Pawhuska; one son and daugher-in-law, Brooks and Shellie Fowler, Chicago, Illinois; her father, Fred Freeman, Sulphur; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Jo Freeman and Jim and Diane Freeman, all of Sulphur; three grandchildren, Caleb and Halle Drummond and Ivey Jane Fowler. She was preceded in death by her mother, Fern Freeman. Pallbearers were Scott Freeman, Andy Freeman, Cale Freeman, Layne Brewer, Steve Brewer, Clay Brewer, Coley Brewer and Bear Runyan.
