Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at the Dougherty Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home. He was born September 29, 1949 in Norman to W.M. "Bunk" and Peggy Stephens Smith. He died October 22, 2002 in Davis. He was raised in Dougherty and lived in the Davis area most of his life. He enjoyed making Indian arts and crafts, along with fishing and hunting. He was a big fan of the Sooner football team. He was formerly employed by Beetle Plastic at Gene Autry and Pauls Valley State School at Pauls Valley. He is survived by his father, W.M. "Bunk" Smith; two sons, Zackary Paul Smith, Davis and David Howard Smith, Ardmore; one daughter, Monica Ann Smith, Sulphur and one brother, Dale Ray Smith, Denison, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his mother, April 19, 1997.
