Finis Steelman officiating. Interment was at the Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home. She was born on May 8, 1922 in Tishomingo to Otto and Clara (Mayes) Wade. She died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002 at Burford Manor Nursing Home in Davis. She was married to Floyd Morgan and he preceded her in death. She grew up in this area and attended school in Tishomingo and Alma. She worked as a nurse's aide. She attended the Church of God. She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Madden, and her husband, Ray; one son, Joe Morgan, and his wife, Sharlet, all of Kimbell, Neb.; five grandchildren, Mike, Larry, Carla, Erik and Stacy; 12 great grandchildren, all of Kimbell, Neb.; two nephews, Roy Junior Maye, Ft. Worth, Texas and Jerry Don Maye, Duncan; five nieces, Juquita Bowden, Lawton, Juanita Jones and Audrey Baugh, both of Davis, Zelma Kesler, Sulphur and Alice Bowen, Ada. Pallbearers were family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Blain Morgan; one brother, Roy Maye; two sisters, Leonia Sheperd and Bertha Sise. Memorials may be made to Cross Timber Hospice of Davis.
