The book in Sulphur at starts at about 1928 and the book in Davis starts at about 1926. The records are very haphazardly kept until the early 1930's. It takes a lot of time to go through them as there are many dates and months missing. You have to go through them page by page to get much out of them. Generally speaking though the early 1930's on they are pretty good. And also, there are some funeral home books missing because the law did not require the funeral homes to pass the books on to a new funeral home. So a lot of early stuff is simply missing.
