    3. The area around the Vendome was taken over by the national park service and every building was leveled several years ago. Only the artesian well remains. The traffic light is on 12th street and the Vendome is 7 blocks east on 5th street. Of course Elmo could have had a tourist court in Sulphur and one in Davis. He died and was buried in Sulphur in 1950 so that would give him 20 to 30 years of moving around. I would like to see the picture.
