Hello All; I have had another wild hair and decided to start a new page on the Murray County website called "Leading Men of the Chickasaw Nation". This is a misnomer since it will also include women, men, whites and Indians. I just called it that because I didn't have room for all this in the little menu box. Oh well, anyway, here is the link: http://www.rootsweb.com/~okmurray/leading_men.htm I have the first two bios uploaded already and will add more as time permits. Please do not confuse these with the Indian Pioneer Papers. Read the home page and it will be explained. Take care, Dennis

How about "Notables of the Chickasaw Nation" as a title instead? That's totally gender-neutral as well as race-neutral -- and I like the alliteration! -- Jim Kyle Proud Rootsweb contributor <a href="http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=jkyleokc"> My WorldConnect tree</a> <a href="http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jimkyle/"> My family web pages</a> <a href="http://www.jimkyle.com"> My commercial web pages</a> <a href="mailto:jimkyle@acm.org"> My Email address</a>
