Emery Mason officiating. Interment was at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home. Mr. Wallen was born on March 30, 1916 in Sulphur to Andrew Wallen and Willie Collier. He died August 29, 2002at the VA Center in Ardmore. In 1937 he married Lois Kissinger. He was born and raised in Sulphur and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He lived in California for several years. He was a mail carrier for many years before he retired. He is survived by his ex-wife, Lois Wallen; one son, Paul Ray Wallen and his wife, Kathy, Camas, Wash.; two daughters, Christa Morty and her husband, Roger, Pelica Rapids, Minn. and Joy Veal and her husband, Tony, Sparks, Nev.; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and one sister, Reta Wilson. Pallbearers were Bob Howard, Clifford Parsons, Terry Bogan, David Williams, Waldo Wilson, and Bud Weems.
