Bruce McCray and Rev. Bobby Allison officiating. Interment was at the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. He was born on August 1,1934 in Sulphur to Lon J. and Willie M. Rowles Cavner. He died September 12, 2002 in Duncan. On August 31, 1957 he married Zetta M. Hathorn in Artesia, N.M. He was raised in Oklahoma and New Mexico. He joined the Navy in 1952 during Korean War. He was a carpenter and builder for many years in Moore and was a member of the Elmore City First Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing, golf, hunting and making things. He was a Mason and a Moose member in Hobbs, N.M. He is survived by his wife, Zetta, of the home; three sons, Deon Cavner and his wife, Nancy, Elmore City, Elmer Cavner, Hobbs N.M., Les Cavner, Newkirk; three brothers, Bob Cavner, and his wife, Margaret, Hobbs, N.M. Clyde Cavner and his wife, Betty, Moore, Bill Cavner and his wife, Donna, Ponca City; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.
