Brad Ransom officiating. Interment was at the Oaklawn Cemetery with local arrangements by Clagg Funeral Home. He was born on Sunday, March 4, 1945 in Sulphur. He died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 in Washington. He grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1963 and attended Murray State College. He worked for the Sulphur Police Department, was a former Murray County Sheriff and was a bail bondsman. He had lived in Sulphur and Washington all of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Harvey and David Day. He is survived by one son, Matthew Day, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Erin Day, Purcell; two step-sons, Roy and Justin Wright, both of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Donald "Ducky" Day, Sulphur, Keith Day, Oklahoma City, Glenn Day, Tulsa; three sisters, Brenda Freese, Oklahoma City, Lisa Day, Oklahoma City, and Pat Blakey, Howe, Texas.
