Shi, 86, were held Monday, July 7th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Thom Balmer officiating. Interment was at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home. Mrs. Shi was born on September 4, 1916 in Blanchard to Issac Garvin Shi and Ruth Vincent. She died on July 3, 2002 at Artesian Nursing home in Sulphur. She was born in Blanchard and moved to Sulphur in 1949 where she lived the remainder of her life. She was Presbyterian by faith and enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time with her animals. She is survived by two sisters, Barbara Gilmore, Sulphur and Mary Jane Shi, Sulphur and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
