Just after I sent that last message, it occurred to me that since she died in CA, I should check the CA death index which is online. http://vitals.rootsweb.com/ca/death/search.cgi I found her there, Her father's surname was RAY and her mother's maiden name was WHITTEN. I looked up her brother Ennis Bland RAY as well. He was born 21 Feb 1902 in TX and died 13 Aug 1994 in Sacramento Co CA.
