Finis Steelman and Rev. Tommy Higle officiating. Interment was at the Green Hill Cemetery. He was born March 26, 1920 at Hennepin to William Drew and Ida P. (Hunt) Digby. He died October 30, 2002 at the Elmbrook Nursing Home in Ardmore. On October 6, 1951 he married Lessie Lurena Kellum in Sulphur. She preceded him in death on May 31, 1992. He lived in this area until the age of 20. He then moved to Dallas, Texas. He worked for Chief Freight Lines as a truck driver until his retirement. He then returned to Davis. He also belonged to the Teamster Local 745. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davis. He is survived by his three sons, Rickey Digby and his wife, Sarah, Healdton, Lawrence Wayne and his wife, Kim, Marietta and James Digby, Lone Grove; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Shirley Ann Brockington, six sisters and eight brothers.
