Richmond Adams officiating. Interment was at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. He was born on Saturday, Feb. 15, 1919 in Blair to George Thomas Roberts and Ora Curry Roberts. He died Thursday, Oct. 31 in Sulphur. On December 19, 1941 he married Esteen Inzer. She preceded him in death in April, 1992. He grew up in the Blair and Altus area and was a retired maintenance supervisor at Carlton College in Northfield Minn. He had also worked in construction as a carpenter. He served in WWII. He moved to Sulphur in 1989. He attended the First Christian Church while in Sulphur. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Roberts, Blanchard; two sons, Owen W. Roberts, Jr., Sulphur and Leon M. Roberts, Wyoming; one sister, Evalene Bowman, Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
