Scott, 90, Coalgate, were held Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tupelo Church of Christ with Mr. Wendell Ingram officiating. Interment was at the Centrahoma Cemetery under the direction of Epperson Funeral Service, Inc. She was born on March 9, 1912 in Lane to Edward Jones and Clara Key. She died October 30, 2002 in Sulphur. On February 5, 1929 she married Roy Scott in Ryan. He preceded her in death. She was a retired cook for the Tupelo Public Schools. She is survived by her two daughters, Billie Jean Methany and her husband, Paul, Tupelo, Royce Jo Kirby and her husband, Alan, Mill Creek; one brother, Jack Jones and his wife, Edith, Coalgate; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Fred Scott Jr., three brothers, Howard Jones, Willie Jones and W.R. Jones. Pallbearers were Billy Clyde Jones, Paul Jones, William Jones, Walter Jones, Gary Jones and James Jones. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons and great grandsons.
