The only cemeteries 3 to 4 miles from Davis could be Oak Ridge/Youngblood, Howell, James, McMinniman and Wynnewood View. There are some Hudsons buried in Wynnewood View. Link to Murray County cemeteries: http://www.rootsweb.com/~okmurray/mucemregs.htm There will be no death certificate since Okla. was not a state then and there was no one who did that at this time. If she was traveleing through there will probably be no stone as the grave was probably marked with a wooden marker that has since deteriorated. Dennis Host - Murray County

Dennis, what an excellent idea you had....... and so fast to implement it !! I just visited your site and it looks terrific. Keeping the registry clean and crisp with the headstone info makes it far easier to read. And, if anyone wants to investigate the expanded data provided by others, they can go to the "Additions & Corrections" link. That also provides a forum to allow for conflicts of data among individuals without one or the other being posted on the registry as "gospel". Hope you get a lot more data to add to that link. Thanks, Dennis, What a wonderful job! This is so much easier to read than most others I have seen. I have been to this cemetary before, brings back memories. I'll have to go visit again. Odd thing is....my great grandmother is buried behind her ex-husband, with his 2nd wife buried beside him! Most 1st wife's kids are also buried around their mother. WHEW!! Thanks again for a job very well done. Linda in Oklahoma
OK, it's done, take a look. Dennis http://www.rootsweb.com/~okmurray/cem/New_Mill_Creek_cemetery.htm
Earlene, I just had a pregnant thought. I can make another page with a link on the cemetery page called "Corrections and Additions" and post all this info intact. I could also post any additional information you want to send as well as information submitted by others. This info may help others. I really do not like to have a lot of information on the registry page except name, birth & death with any relation, as it gets confusing for a lot of people. But, there is no reason we cannot put all the 1st wives, etc. info on a linked page. This very thing has occurred in my family. If you look at the registry you will see a Nora Waggoner the wife of L.A. Waggoner, 1913. L.A. Waggoner was my grandfather and Nora was his first wife who died in childbirth with their first child. An odd thing is that his second wife was also named Nora so it got a bit confusing. Thanks for this information. Linda, There is a Seeley cemetery near Connerville according to the Johnston County website. But, there is no link so it must not be registered yet. There are a lot of Seeleys in Johnston County who are Chickasaw and Blue River runs near Connorville so you should start there I think. I have done all the cemeteries in Murray County and they are posted on the website, so, Johnston County is your best bet.
