    1. [OKMURRAY] FW: [Fwd: Fw: IN GOD WE TRUST] from Texas
    2. Carolyn Coughlin
    3. >From Texas. ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Saturday, March 29, 2003 9:18 AM Subject: IN GOD WE TRUST You may have heard in the news that a couple of Post Offices in Texas have been forced to take down small posters that say "IN GOD WE TRUST." They claim that the law is being violated; something silly involving "electioneering posters." (Is God running for office?) Anyway, apparently a radio show host has proposed that we should all write "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the back of all our mail. After all, that is our national motto, and it's on all the money we use to buy those stamps. I think this is a wonderful idea. We must take back our nation from all the people who think that anything that offends them should be removed. If you like this idea, pass it on, and DO IT. Let's start a land swell of support for our cherished principles we all love and believe in. Won't cost you anything but a tiny bit of effo! rt, and the RESULTS could be PRICELESS! God Bless America "IN GOD WE TRUST"

    3. Where should I write to try to find a death record for Cynthia Susan Clendenin BURK? Will the Arbuckle Historical Society have a list of deaths for Murray Co or should I write the Library? I'd appreciate any recommendations. Cynthia Burk was last in the 1910 Tecumseh, Pottawatomie Co., OK census, and living with her daughter and son-in-law (Nettie Burk, wife of John FLOYD). According to Pottawatomie Gen. Society she did not die there. Nettie/John Floyd were in the 1920 and 1930 Sulphur, Murray Co., OK census' but Cynthia Burk was not listed with them. I'm guessing she died between 1910-1920 in Sulphur. I'm grateful for any help and recommendations, Mary Louise Townsend Potomac Falls, VA
