Bose was my Great Grandmothers' brother and Aunt Minnie was her sister. Aunt Minnie was born in Pontotoc Co, Chickasaw Nation, on July 29, 1870. She married a man named Green and had a son Roy. She died Nov. 27, 1958. Uncle Bose's parents were Thomas Walter Johnson and Rosa B. Turner Johnson. Uncle Bose's real name was James Thomas. He was also born in Pontotoc Co., CN; ON 18 March, 1872. His firt wife was Harriet Strickland Johnson (June 16, 1874-June 9, 1901)> They had two sons, W.T. (Wren) and Dewy. His second wife was Olive Goodman (Dec.18, 1879-March 6, 1960), daughter of Jack Goodman. Uncle Bose was a U.S. Marshal and a sheriff for many years. He died Aug. 1, 1959. My cousin may be able to give me more info. on Aunt Minnie. I never heard about her having a second marriage.

They resided in Sulphur, Murray Co., OK until the early 40's when they and their two children moved to Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK. Glenn was born in 1909 in Roger Mills Co., OK and died in 1986 in Tulsa.. Dennis, If my memory is correct--and it isn't always, there was a Harold Craven of Cravens who was band director at Davis High in the late 1930s or early 1940s. Could this possibly have been the Harrell Cravens in one of the pictures? The only tombstone for Flippo's in Oaklawn that I know of is of John Urias Flippo. However, there may be others. She was a housewife and animal lover. She lived in this area all of her life and attended Sulphur schools. Survivors include her husband, Randall, Sulphur; two sons, Zachary Hector and Michael Hector, Sulphur; one brother, Larry Dean Morris Jr., Sulphur; four sisters, Novella Red, Purcell, Mary Noland, Noble, Marti Venegas, Noble and Katherine Fetgatter, Sulphur; grandmother, June Hickman, Sulphur; father, Larry Dean Morris, Sulphur; grandson, Ozzy Hector and several nieces and nephews and special friends, Kathy Wood, Rachel Hector and Sonya. He is survived by his wife, Molly Holland, Sulphur; five daughters, Tina, Mary Ann, Cindy, Nina and Sue; five sons, Danny, Bobby, David, Lynn and Ricky; one brother, Van Holland; two sisters, Mazie and Bernice; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda and a son, Mike.

She grew up in the Hollis area and attended Hollis High School. After her marriage they moved to Wapanucka in the early 1930's, where Russel began a career in the grocery business. They then moved to Sulphur in 1947. She and her husband owned and operated Brown's Grocery for 25 years until their retirement. She was a 56-year member of the Sulphur United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and held other offices. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Jerry Brown, Edmond, Bill and Mary Brown, Pampa, Texas and Dwight and Pat Brown, Carrolton, Texas; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers were Russ Bradley, Ryan Bradley, Doug Brown, Don Brown, Rusty Brown, Taylor Brown, Duane Brown, Derrick Mueggenborg, Dustin Mueggenborg and Joe Brown.
