I am searching for information on the following individuals Listed below this message:. I know that my grandmother Lydia Rebecca BALDWIN was born in Benton Co. Missouri 1898, And that her Parents William E. BALDWIN and Rosella HINES brought her to the Wann, Nowata/Washington County( Indian Territory) area of OKLAhoma after 1900. Her grandparents Elijah George BALDWIIN and Lydia Josephine REED are buried in Wann, Nowata Co. Oklahoma cemetery, having died in 1917. Lydia left a letter indicating that her mother, Rosella HINES BALDWIN died in 1904 and that they owned a very large 1000 plus acre ranch in the area...I cannot find anything to indicate either event...just the grand parents and a school enumeration for Oakdale Dist. 6, which was just north eat of Wann, Ok in Nowata County. She was enumerate with Ezra j. BALDWIN and Susanna P(Pearl?) BALDWIn who were younger than Lydia Rebecca BALDWIN. according to my grandmother Lydia Rebecca BAlDWIN ( aka Betty Lee , Lida, Cora(?)) her sister Susanna Pearl BALDWIN married a man named POOL/POOLE? and lived in Winneywood, OK in the 1940's and I know that Lydia also lived there about the same time But she was a Widow and her surname was CHAPMAN/CHAPMON. I sure would like to hear from anyone who has information about any person on the lines listed below. I am desperate to find out more about this generation as there is a grap between my mother and her mother.... I have ,just in Benton county ,the following surnames: Baldwin, Hines, Reed, Kirby, Cross, Hopper, Jeans, Smith, Barker, Smallwood, Hunt,Bird,(maybe Duren, and Miller (both married to BALDWINs), too but cannot connect right!), Spicer,( these are all that I have managed to link up out of that area!!!) :))) other surnames are PETERS, FULTS, CHAPMAN, BUSH, BULLOCK, WOOD(s), POOl, and a bunch of others...
