Is any one familiar with the Vernon Cemetery near Hanna OK, McIntosh Co.,? If any one is familar with this cemetery and wouldn't mind doing a check for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Looking for: Robert Bridges Benson Bn abt. 1875 in TN It would be in the very old part of the cemetery with a small stone or marker. Use to be near a Buckeye tree back in the late 60's or early 70's. I need any information on him that the stone might provide. Since his side has become a brick wall. Any information someone might have or be able to find for me would be "real special". He was a farmer in the Hanna area until the mid 20's when he died of skin cancer. His wife was Callie Hester Cox, her sisters names were Lillie and Hattie Cox. She also had a brother named Albert Cox. Lillie married a Belvie Ross. Robert and Callie had six children that survived to adulthood. Callie had a daughter by a prior marriage, Sybil Endsley. Robert may have been married before as well. His parents names were William and Martha Benson. Callie's parents were James Cox and Delila Crabtree, she was born abt 1895 somewhere in the IT. Some sources list AR, some OK. Any informaton on these individuals would be greatly appreciated. I have the Crabtree line from Delila's mother on back. Am willing to share any information I am able to gather or already have. Thank you, Dona
