My Dad was born in Fame in 1900 and I suppose it was a bustling little community then, but now it is pretty much deserted. We still go to the cemetery there, which is kept up, but any sign of the town is gone. I didn't know people from the Trrail of Tears settled there. Very interesting. I know some of the Graysons and Stidhams (Indians) were from that area. Maybe some of the natives can tell you more.
