ROBERT FRANK “BOB” TIDWELL was born on Dec. 1, 1924 at Grosebeck, TX to Charlie and Rettie Mae (Sanders) Tidwell, married Virginia Shoemake on Aug 7, 1944 in Muskogee, and died Aug 9, 2001 in Muskogee. Graveside services were Aug 4 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Checotah with burial under the direction of Hampton Mortuary, Checotah. Survivors include his wife of Checotah; chiodren, Jeanne and Dwane Curtis of Checotah, Bobby and Billie Jean Tidwell of Checotah, Linda and Jim Rhodes of Muskogee, Rick and Sharon Tidwell of Council Hill and Cathy and Mike Bennett of Checotah; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alta Garrison of Muskogee, Mayselle Woolridge of Okemah and Laura Crain of Muskogee.
