DELORIS A. SMITH was born April 18, 1940 in Checotah, OK to Stanton and Essene E. (Thompson) Luke, married Euless H. Smith on August 11, 1972 at Checotah, and died July 29, 2001 in Muskogee. Services were held July 31 at the Checotah Church of Christ followed by burial in Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Checotah. Survivors include her mother of Muskogee; her husband, of Checotah; two daughters, Debbie Buckmaster and Lisa Sheridan both of Checotah; two extra special granddaughters, Lacy and Amber also of Checotah; three step-sons, Randell, Rick and Larry Smith all of Checotah; one step daughter, Kay Kindred of Checotah.; three sisters, Wanda Wanzer of Checotah, Roberta Jesse of Muskogee and Louise Courtney of CA; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
