WILLIAM B. “BILL” MARTIN was born Dec. 5, 1924 in Peoria, IL to Walter B. and Vivian (Boniface) Martin, married Clara Hubbard on Aug. 29, 1948 at Peoria, and died Friday Aug 3, 2001 at his home in Eufaula. Services were held Wednesday Aug 8 in the Kelley Memorial Chapel of Black’s Shipman & Merritt Funeral Home followed by burial at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Caren Jane Sappington of Savage, MN; two sons, John Patrick Martin and wife Sarah of Broken Arrow and Michael William Martin and wife Katherine of Eufaula; nin grandchildren, Tana and Dyana Sappington, Sarah and Geoffrey Martin, Nina Lay, Erinn Lay, Gavin Lay, Mitchelle and Jacque Martin.
