BLONDENA DIXON was born Nov. 10, 1919 at Daugherty to Wiley and Nellie Scribner, married Olice E. Dixson on Dec. 22, 1934 at Gutherie and died Aug 5, 2001. Graveside services were held Aug. 7 at Greenwood Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Black’s Shipman & Merritt Funeral hOme of Eufaula. Survivors include a daughter, Dena Owens and husband Tim of Yukon; a son, Melvin Disxon and wife Jennifer of Springfiled, MO; three sisters, Faye Hill, Barbara Haslam and Loretta Williams; eight grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
