I am searching for the family of Andrew and Nancy Wood that moved to McIntosh County in 1893. Their children included Martin Wood, and daughters Mandy and Martha Wood that married James Cantrell and Sherman Cantrell in McIntosh County. I am looking for any descendants of this family. My grandmother was Nancy Elizabeth Benefield that was a granddaoughter of Andrew and Nancy. Her mother (name unknown) died in childbirth and she was raised with the Wood family. but I cannot find any information on the family. I will appreciate hearing from anyone.
