Her mother died in childbirth and her father was killed 2 years later. neither of their first names are known. Her grandparents were Andrew M. Wood (Woods) and Nancy Wood (Woods) they were possibly born in Georgia. His dob was May 1845 and Nancy's was Sept 1840. Could this be your Wood/Woods & Benefield families in Alabama??
