LADORIS SIMPSON was born Oct. 218, 1943 in Duncan, OK to Robert Lee and Betty June (Haris) Munns, married James D. Taff in 1961 at Duncan and died July 24, 2001 in Tulsa. Services were July 26 at Greenwood Cemetery with burial under the direction of Black’s Shipman & Merritt Funeral Home. Survivors include her mother of Tulsa; two daughters, Stausha Lawson of Eufaula and LaNisha Nievar of Tulsa; an aunt, Dorothy Hager of Eufaula; cousin, Paula Horton of Leflore; five grandchildren, Lindsey Leigh Pearce, Holden William McCleod, Brooke Leigh Nievar, Lauren Rae Nievar and Rebecca Dawn Nievar; and her husband, Norman Keith Simpson of Tulsa She was preceded in death by her father.
