Hi Dovie, I just saw you posting and I was just surprised by your name! I had an Aunt that I was very close to growing up that came from the Pontotoc OK area. Her name was Dovie Blevins. There was another Dovie Blevins that lived in Delaware Co OK that was Cherokee indian. It is a very rare name and the only time I have seen it was in my Blevins line. Do you know where it originated?
