Tammy, My grandmother was an Owen, but I didn't recognize any of the names in your family history. My grandmother Otta came to Oklahoma with her Parents (Joseph Andrew Owen and Susie Rachel Bryant) about 1925 from Johnson County, Arkansas. They settled breifly near Stuart, OK (Pittsburg County). They didn't stay very long at any one spot. They eventually ended up moving to Indianola, OK and then across the Canadian River to Burton Township, McIntosh County (East of Hanna). Susie died of Tb in 1936 and is buried at Hillabee Cemetery. Joseph died in 1953 and was buried beside Susie at Hillabee. There are currently several families of Owen living near Hitchita.
