The McINOSH County Democrat January 6, 2005 Douglas Edward (Butch) Brown Douglas Edward (Butch) Brown, 57, of Checotah, Okla. Passed away on December 18, 2004. Services were at 10 am at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Eufaula, Okla. Officiating clergy were Rev. John Parish, Rev. Arlie and Pat Branson assisting. Arrangement were under the Love and Care of Gregg Funeral Home of Eufaula. Pallbearers were David Brown, Chris Wooten, Mark Alvarado, Marty Alvarado, David Lee, Glen Midgley, Johnny Adams, Jeff Eller, John Wayment and Clayton Cullen. Honorary Pallbearers were Doug Brown, Jacob Brown, C.L. Cullens, Brandon Alvarado and John Pruitt. Butch was born to Douglas Matthew Henry Brown and Violet Ethel "Hunter" Brown on April 19, 1947 in San Luis Obispo, Ca. He attended school at Bell High School in Culdaby, CA. There he married the love of his life Juniata June "Alvardo" Brown on October 18, 1978. Butch attended the Lighthouse Christian Center where he enjoyed signing (?singing) Butch has been a gospel singer his whole life. Butch is survived by his mother Violet Ethel "Hunter" Brown, his wife Juanita June "Alvarado" Brown, his children: Douglas and Michelle Brown, David and Lauren Brown, Chris and Kymberly Wooten, his brothers-in-law; Mark Alvarado, Martin Alvardo, Matthew Alvarado, Marshall Alvarado, and Clayton Cullen, his grandchildren: Jacob Brown, Liberty Grace Wooten and Makayla Brown.
