Researching Owen and Atkisson (Adkission?--different spellings) families. They lived in the area 1900 to 1930. John Adkission was convicted of poisoning his wife, Maude Owen Adkisson, in 1926 in Stidham area. Anyone know how I could find newspaper article or court records regarding this case?
