This is a new experence for me even though I'm an old Hound dog thats been on the hunt for my ancestors sense the late 1970's . My maternal ggrandmother Alice Ellen Wells was born in McIntosh county Ok. in 1880, she was the daughter of Franklin P. and Lydia Wells (nee Davis) Lydia was a halfbreed Creek. Some of the other surnames connected to my Wells that I am also researching are Davis, Vinyard, Hood, Storm and Lewis just to name a few . Most lived in McIntosh county. and some of thier descendants still do. I am very excited about having the opportunity to help out with this message board .
