    3. Hi Ruthann, Thank you for your offer to help. I have tried to do this on my own but I guess I'm just way to stupid to handle the Creek language. Ok here is my problem > My gggrandfather was named Bill Davis a full blood Creek from Al. who died before Dawes enrollment so I know almost nothing about him . I would like to know if there is a Creek translation for his name if not then how would it have been written in Creek fashion. From what I could tell in reading about the Creek language it seems there would be no translation for the name but I just don't know . I do appreciate your offer of help. pmunroe@sbcglobal.net Pat Munroe ----- Original Message ----- From: "Issac Downum" <rockingd@sbcglobal.net> To: <OKMCINTO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 01, 2004 6:20 PM Subject: Re: [OKMCINTO] Anyone familiar with Creek Language > My name is Ruthann Downum, my husband is Issac his mom full blood creek. 3. Hi Pat, I am printing this off so Issac can take it with him to see Si & Lillie. If for some reason they can"t help he can take it to Muskogee to George McIntosh. His wife"s father was a preacher at Big Arber Indian Church for years. don"t quote that there is a Little Arber also. ha! get that mixed up sometimes. Will get you an answer over the weekend. I am off Tues.-Thurs. next week. Have to work this weekend, would like to join the roll call, both of our family"s come from Eufaula.Have to find information for Pat also. Thanks, Ruthann Downum pmunroe <pmunroe@sbcglobal.net> wrote:Hi Ruthann, Thank you for your offer to help.
