Pat, If your ancestor is registered with a roll # on Dawes you should send after for their enrollment jacket at the national archives in Texas. It was the best thing I ever did regarding my creeks. What wonderful papers I received, statements, enrollment application, allotment application, birth affidavit, etc. These were copies of their original paper work. It was by far the best $50.00 i have ever spent.
