Memorial services were held at the Checotah Church of Christ. Local arrangements were under the direction of Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home with services pending in Fairfield, IA under the direction of Behner Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Rita; daughters, Cheryl Crawford and husband Charles of Bentonville, AR and Shirley Haynes of Fairfield; son, Skeeter LeRoy Haynes and wife Dianna of Libertyvbille, IA; one brother-in-law, Ricky Carter of Fairfield; a sister-in-law, Robin Elder and husband jime; an uncle, Bob Lawsen and wife Betty; an aunt, Dorothy Moore; eleven grandchildren, Dainelle Hughell, Rick Haynes, Melissa Coo, Brian Haynes, Ashley Crouse, Charles Bradley Haynes, Cody Lucas, Beau Haynes, Brett Haynes, Tad Haynes and Cory Haynes; two great grandchildren, Ashylynn Crouse and Clayton Moore Haynes.
