Funeral services were Jan 28 at the Merritt Chapel followed by burial at the Lenna Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Cheryl Kay Caldwell; mother, Lela Underwood of Eufaula; sons, Walter and Darrell of Porum, Ray of West Virginia, Tony of Eufaula, Shane of Phoenix, AZ, Charles of Springfield, MO, Brian, Brandon, Bradley and Brett all of the home in Stidham; daughter, Tamika Shoemaker of Springfield; brothers, Johnny of Stidham, Charles of Eufaula and Joe of Texas; sisters, Joy and Barbara Jean of Eufaula and 14 grandchildren.
