    3. The McIntosh County website is www.rootsweb.com/~okmcinto/index.htm . In case you are not familiar with it, you will find census reports for the county, a list of names of people who obtained marriage licenses in the county, a list of cemeteries. There is also a box which says "search this site". You can enter the names of people you are looking for and a list will come up, whether it is census, marriage license, cemeteries, obituaries, etc. I saw the names Looney and Roundtree there. Many of the cemeteries will show that they have been relocated. These are the ones that were moved when Lake Eufaula was built. The Corps of Engineers was in charge of moving the graves, I think it was in the late 1950's or early 1960's, and they made an effort to identify everyone. Of course there were many they could not identify. Ron and Elaine Long, the couple who maintained this website for several years, did a lot of work in transcribing the census reports, obtaining marriage license information and inventorying cemeteries to make all this information available to those who were looking for ancestors in this county. Everyone owes them a big thanks for all the work they did. There are still cemeteries which have not been inventoried. I was unable to find anything under the name Riggings. The name Riggs is among the information available but that was as close as I could find to Riggings. Good look in your research.
