BILLY F. HOLLIS was born Sept. 3, 1935 in Muskogee to Bill and Mable (Guthrie) Hollis, married Zelma Christian on May 19, 1956 in Wainwright, OK and died July 6, 2001 in Muskogee. Services were July 10 at the Boston Ave. Baptist Church of Muskogee followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Checotah. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Keith and Anita Hollis and Larry and Judy Hollis all of Wichita, KS and Jan Hollis of Tulsa; a very special little girl, Jonna (Jake) Lenon of Muskogee; four brothers, Jim and Judy Hollis of Muskogee, David and Twila Hollis of Oktaha, Gary Don and Sherri Hollis of Eureka, KS and Bob and Carol Hollis of Oktaha, give sisters, Ruby and Darrell Wooten of Kellyville, OK, Bonnie and Terry Schroeder of Stillwater, OK, Linda and Mack Mayes of Kellyville, OK, Nancy and Terry Clark of Muskogee and Tina Hollis of Tulsa, his stepmother, Edna Hollis of Porter; six grandchildren, B.K. Hollis, Scott Hollis, Sarah Hollis, Joshua Hollis, and Anthony Hollis all of Wichita, KS and Ashley Hollis of Sap7ulpa, OK; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Sydney Cooper of Wichita, KS.
