HARRELL HENRY SHACKELFORD was born Dec. 30, 1933 at Poteau, OK to William Henry and Margie Louis (McClain) Shackelford, and died June 18, 2001 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, AR. Servicds were at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Eufaula followed by burial at Howe Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Eufaula. Survivors include four brothers and two sisters-in-law, George Shackelford of Powell, WY, Billy and Maudie Shackelford, and Roy Dean Shackelford of Eufaula; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Wilda Stricklen of Eufaula, Phyllis and Jim Bedford of Eufaula, Anna and Ed Campbell of Checotah, Sharon and John Howell of Wagnor; and sister-in-law, Lois Shackelford of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lawrence and Wendell Ray Shackelford and a great nephew, James Burns. THE INDIAN JOURNAL Thursday, June 28, 2001
