ROBERT LEE JONES was born Oct. 31, 1924 in Scipio, OK to Robert Lee and Maudie Jones and died July 19, 2001 in Tulsa. Services were July 21 in the Kelly Memorial Chapel of Black’s Shipman & Merritt Funeral Home followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Johnson and her husband, Joe of Eufaula; a daughter-in-law, Sharyn Jones Tugwell of Greenville, NC; two brothers, Ellis Jones of Minticello, CA and Bill Jones of Ada; a granddaughter, Rachel Lee “Sugars” Jones and a grandson, Blake Johnson of Edmond.
