MAUDE E. SMITH was born June 27, 1917 to Alfred and Ella (Posey) Mitchell in Mounds, OK, married Omar “Smitty” Smith at Kingfisher, OK in 1960, and died June 23, 2001 in Eufaula, OK. Arrangements were under the direction of Black’s Shi0man & Merritt Funeral Home of Eufaula. She is survived by her husband; four children, Ronnie Sparks of Washington, Gwen Fagan of Muskogee, Thurman Sparks of Muskogee, and Gaialyn Morrison of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Lela Underwood, Noni Silk, Katie Mitchell and Ann Miller; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
