MYRTLE CASEY STANDRIDGE died May 19, 2001 at Heavener, OK at the age of 95. Graveside services were held May 20 at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home. She was a member of the Choctaw Tribe and had been a resident of Eufaula for 50 years before moving to Heavener in 1978. Survivors include three daughters, Anna Lue Denny and husband Bob of Edmond, OK, Bettie Arnold and husband Lindly of Monkey Island, OK and Garlena Vickers an husband Mike of Heavener, OK; Seven grandchildren, Charlotte Fos, Charlene Strong and husband Cliff, Alan Denny, Coleen Seaman and husband Keith, Chad and wife Traci, Micheal Vickers and wife Cindy, Todd Vickers and wife Khristy; eight great-=grandchildren, Sean Casey and Gary Strong, Christen Seaman, Zachary Arnold, Haleigh and Justyn Vickers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barland, a son, Wayne and a sister and four brothers. THE INDIAN JOURNAL, Thursday, June 28, 2001
