CHARLEY A. “PAT” PATTERSON was born at Stidham Indian Territory, Feb. 10, 1907 to Robert Lee and Susan Elizabeth (McDowell) Patterson. Married Naomie King Feb. 15, 1930 in Eufaula and died July 16, 2001 at Muskogee. Services were July 19 at Vivian Baptist church followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Black’s Shipman & Merritt Funeral Home, Eufaula. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; two brothers, Dewey and Robert; four sisters, Rosa Counts, Ervin Haley, Minnie Hickey and Irene Hinton. THE INDIAN JOURNAL, Thursday, July 26, 2001
