CARL CARTER BAILEY was born Nov. 3, 1922 at Eufaula to William Thomas and Mary Bertha (Hampton) Bailey and died July 8, 2001 in Eufaula Manor Nurshing Home. Services were July 11 in the Kelley Memorial Chapel of Black’s Shipman & Merritt Funeral Home, Eufaula followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include three sisters, Addie Waddle of Eufaula, Nora Day of Tulsa and Orpha Duzan of Clovis, CA; a brother, J.M. Bailey of Eufaula; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Boatright, Frances Imogene Waddle, Patsy Elliot, Sally Day, Earnest B. Day Jr, Melvin Bailey, Janet Harrington, Zant Burdine, Jr, Sharon Duzan, William Duzan and Malinda Meese.
